The door has two racks which are perfect for juice and butter cartons. The refrigerator utilizes thermoelectric exchange technology instead of compressor cooling. The refrigerator is quieter and emits only a slight hum.
The total capacity of the refrigerator is 295 litres. The refrigerator compartment holds 209 litres, while the storage freezer on the bottom provides 89 millilitres. The refrigerator isn't free of frost and will require periodic manual defrosting to maintain its peak performance. The stability of temperature was also a plus for a fridge of this type. The top shelf, middle and bottom all offered an average temperature that was within two degrees either way of the maximum temperature. The temperature of the salad drawer varied from 5oC to just under freezing.
As with the SR11010, the fridge will require an occasional manual defrost, but is graded A+ for energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient fridge freezers in our Best Buy chart, keeping your electricity bills down.
This is a good example of how the Swan brand can provide appealing retro-inspired designs at competitive costs. The SR11010 looks great and is available in a wide spectrum of colors, ranging from the subtle pastel blue we tested to more striking red, pink and orange.
